You are the Author of my life
You are the Governor of my soul
When I feel I'm going under
You never let me go.
I find your mercy never ends
My heart is where you belong
There is nothing that can hurt me
Because your love for me is strong.
Though this life holds many challenges
That I cannot figure out
I can trust you in the weight of my cares
And I know without a doubt.......
You are the Author of my life
You are the Governor of my soul
When my days are filled with darkness
You never let me go.
And if the plans I have fall through
I know I'll never be alone
Your Spirit lives inside of me
And with You I have a home.
