One Voice

 This is a personal wake-up call to all believers in Christ:

 Psalm 33:12-15(Amp)-Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage.  The Lord looks from heaven, He beholds all the sons of men; from His dwelling place He looks [intently] upon all the inhabitants of the earth—He who fashions the hearts of them all, who considers all their doings.

Psalm 33:18-19 (Amp)-Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.

 Did you know that it only takes one voice to make a difference?  Maybe you think your voice would never matter to a world full of its own rules and views.  God has given each of us a part to play while we still have breath in our bodies.

 One voice can stand up for the rights of others.

One voice can lead a group into making positive changes.

One voice can speak for the lives of those who cannot speak for themselves.

One voice can bring a nation to its knees.

One voice can turn the world around. 

 In a society that allows voices to speak on behalf of immorality, making up their own new laws of sin and rules forcing us to accept and follow; it’s time we Christians rise to the occasion and speak for what is truly right, Godly and true.  We need to speak it out with boldness for Christ but, most of all, in love for others who are hurting and lost.  We owe them the love that Christ showed without condemnation.  That is what will turn their heads and want to hear what you have to say.  They are looking for answers and truth, not judgement.  We have a duty to warn and share Jesus with the world as long as we remember Who the focus is really about. 

When God created mankind in His own image, He engulfed us with His love and placed before us the “will” to accept what is right and follow His command to honor Him.  However, in the very beginning, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, sin entered into man.  Because sin became a part of man, we were then given free wills to choose between Life (eternity with God and Jesus) and Death (eternity of separation in hell).  Somewhere along the way, sin has continued to grow more and more, pushing what is right aside and accepting what is wrong.  Unfortunately, people are accepting the laws of sin and what it represents as just another way of life.  The devil has deceived them just as he did Adam and Eve because, he wants to destroy God’s greatest love and creation which is, People (His Children).  Satan will stop at nothing to do so.  The Bible says the devil is a Liar and the father of all Lies. He knows our weaknesses and uses them to come against and attack us or trick us into believing his lies so man will turn away from God.  He is Evil and our world has fallen victim to his tricks and evilness.  Our society, what should be God fearing people, are pushing out all that is right in God’s eyes.  Crime and chaos is escalating everywhere and now we wonder what is happening to our world.  Sinful minded people are trying to remove God out of everything.  The devil is orchestrating all these evil changes in hopes one day he can proclaim himself to be god.  The Bible says that God looks down upon this earth in search for anyone who will reverently worship and serve Him.  He sees all those who diligently seek after His Word and live by His Holy Laws.  He also sees all those who have chosen to follow Satan and do his bidding.  That is why God sent Jesus because he doesn’t want anyone to perish. 

This world will not change until the hearts of mankind are drawn unto the Lord and allow His Holy Spirit to fill them with all the awe and wonder of God’s great love for His creation.  Jesus set the perfect example for us when He walked upon this earth over 2,000 years ago.  He is coming back again for a bride (people) that is spotless and righteous before Him.  A people that has received Him as lord and Savior in their life and has walked before Him in obedience.  All their sins have been forgiven and washed in the blood of the Lamb. 

Our voice, as followers of Jesus should always be one of love and a willingness to stand up for what is right in the way God would want us to do, so others can see what God’s true love is about.  We are supposed to follow Jesus’ example and love All people and not become judge and jury over them. Only God knows the hearts and minds of people.  We have absolutely no right to condemn others.  That does not bring God Glory to His Name.  Jesus clearly stated that we need to, “remove the log from our own eyes before we even try to remove the splinter from others”.  He said, “Do not judge lest you be judged also.  When Jesus came and walked among men and taught of His Father’s love; He came to save the lost and broken, not those who already believed.  He treated everyone with love and compassion and because of His love to them, the lost were drawn to that Hope and Love in Jesus.

How can we truly be called Children of God when we are so busy condemning the world and the sinners of the world?  We need to remember, God said there is none good, no not one.  We All have fallen short of the glory of God.  We have All missed the mark of righteousness (right-standing with God).  Why would anyone lost in sin, want to hear a word we, ‘Christians” have to say about Jesus when they see how we are treating those around us who do not believe.  We seem to be very busy at pointing our finger at their sin or how they live their life?  Don’t you think they feel condemned enough already?  The devil is trying to use those weaknesses of sin to destroy them.  He doesn’t want God to have them.

Our mission is not about ourselves or earning brownie points with God.  You can’t earn your way into heaven, that only comes through accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.  Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life and no man can come to the Father except through Him.  It’s only with love and compassion and understanding that we see the lost as we ourselves are seen before God.  Until people can get past their self-righteousness, they will never win lost souls for Christ.  Jesus expects much more from His followers and the lost deserve much more from us as well if we want to reach the world for Christ.  The Bible says there will be false teachers and preachers that will come on the scene and deceive others; even God’s very elect.  We will know them by their fruit (their actions, words, behavior and true reasons behind their messages, whether for God or their own personal gain).  The Fruits of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Gentleness, and Self-Control. That is what we are to always present to this lost and dying world. 

The Father is watching and waiting for all those who will come to repentance and acknowledge their sins and be completely forgiven. He promises that our sins will be cast away as far as the east is from the west and He will remember them no more.

 One voice can lead a sinner into eternal life when we set examples for those around us who do not understand or have not yet heard.  One voice can make a difference between eternal life and eternal death.  If we walk on by them hoping someone else will reach out, what have we accomplished with our lives?  It won’t always be easy, and people will still ridicule and persecute us for being outspoken for Christ but, it will be worth that one life that is changed forever in His love.

Will you be that One Voice who will stand and make a difference?
