Staying Focused on God in the Wilderness!

I Cor. 10:26-For the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.
God is still in control no matter what may arise in your life. He has the power to deliver you out of every circumstance. For God is the creator of all things. The Bible teaches us that, "There is nothing made that wasn't made by God" and "Greater is He (God) that is in you, than he (devil) that is in the world". Remember, God knew you even before you were conceived in your mother's womb, he designed and fashioned each and every part of you. You are special and unique in every way. He created a perfect plan of victory for your life. When we get our eyes off of Jesus, the course set before us is turned around. We find ourselves going down roads that God did not intend for us to travel. And yet He lovingly sits back and waits for us to "wake up" so we can begin anew with Him leading the way.
In the middle of desperate hours, we choose different directions thinking we can get ourselves out of the problems and yet, it is in those very moments that everything we do seems to work against us. God is Faithful and He will not place upon us more than we can bear. If we call upon His name and put our complete trust in Him, He will make a way even in the wilderness where there seems to be no way. His compassion is new every morning and the Bible says God will be our strength when we are weak. He knows everything about us. He sees the deepest parts inside of us that are calling out for help. God is no respecter of persons and what He does for others, He can and will do for you. Only believe and know that out of every difficult situation something good comes. You may not see it or you may have trouble understanding it but, it is there. You could spend all of your time asking "why?" and "How does a loving God allow such things to happen?" In the long run, the answer is clear, God has a perfect plan no matter what has happened or is happening at that moment.
He said in Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT)-"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts". God knows our every need even before we ask it and just like an earthly parent, He will not refuse us any good thing. Christ is our Salvation, Deliverer, Redeemer and so much more. No problem is too big that God cannot handle. (NLT)Mark 9:22-23 says, "Everything is possible for him who believes". Also, Philippians 4:13-"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
So, the next time you are faced with great despair, stop focusing on the problem and begin focusing on the answer. See "Victory" instead of "Defeat". Rise up and remember that God's promises will never fail. Go to God in prayer and pour out your heart to Him. Read your Bible and find passages that will encourage you, strengthen you and teach you about His promises. Let God's Word create the miracle you need. And Never Give Up! No matter what you see or hear, stay focused!
Isaiah 55:11-"So shall my Word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where I sent it."
As long as you keep your eyes on Jesus, that mountain becomes a beautiful valley filled with streams of living water to refresh your soul. Let God lead you today and above all else, "Stay Focused".
