What Are You Sowing and Reaping?

(KJV)Gal. 6:7- Be not deceived for God is not mocked: For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
All of our words, actions, and giving, affect the very course of our lives. We will reap what we sow! In fact, the Bible states clearly to watch everything that comes out of your lips because; with the mouth our destiny is set. Look at James 3:6-The tongue is a fire and sets on fire the course of nature. Also, Proverbs 18:20-21--A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. By sowing words of strife, bitterness and unbelief, not only are we setting up ourselves to be trapped by Satan but, we are affecting our surroundings. We can however, stop his evil works against us by counter-attacking him with the Word of God. Stand your ground! Matthew 15:18-Understand that with the heart a man speaks and with his words, he is defiled. You can break the cycle of negativity from your life just by speaking God's promises into existence. His Words are life and they are filled with everything we need to succeed. You can make the words and actions you sow work for you and not against you. How you treat others in word or deed will come back to you. It is important for us to remain in a Christ-like attitude at all times in order to control our words. By planting the right seeds into the ground, you'll usher in a bountiful harvest of love, peace, increase, and many other blessings God desires for you to have.
Reaping God's blessings in every area of your life takes a lot of self-control and discipline. You must be diligent in God's Word and in applying it to your circumstances. If it did not work that way, Jesus would not have set for us that example. He said, "What you see me do, you shall also do". Don't be moved by what you see happening around you. Do not listen or accept the bad reports and circumstances. Don’t let them become the final word for your life. The Bible teaches us that we will have what we believe. Stand firm knowing, "Greater is He (God) that is in you, than he (devil) that is in the world". God already knows the outcome. It's up to us to use the authority and power of His Word in the Name of Jesus to bring about the victory.
(Amp. version) Hebrews 4:12-For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective].
Find the scriptures in the Bible that pertain to your need, get it into your heart by speaking them aloud every day. Notice something, “Did Jesus whisper or think to Himself the words He spoke when He performed miracles?” No…He spoke out loud with authority against the circumstance. He believed what He was about to say before He said it. He knew His Father's Words were life and would not return void. He commanded and it was done! The Bible says, we are to keep asking and keep knocking and the doors will be opened. God's timing is not our timing. Once you act upon God's Word, He immediately goes to work on your behalf. In the supernatural realm, it is already done. Our faith and our actions bring it into the natural realm. In other words, we receive what we believe. By speaking God's Word out, you are sowing the seed and preparing the way for the harvest to come in Faith. And you must stand.....no matter how long it takes.....you stand and you get up each day thanking God for answering your prayer.
(Amplified version) Hebrews 11:1-2--Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things (we) hope for, being the proof of the things (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality (faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses).
For example: Read Jesus' Words in Mark 11:22-26. You will see four key steps to receiving.
- Have faith in God.
- Forgive others so you can be forgiven by God.
- Believe and not doubt.
- Then you shall receive.
When sowing through giving, we are putting God's Law of Prosperity into operation in our lives. We must first tithe to God (what rightfully belongs to Him into His Kingdom) a tenth of our gross earnings. In other words, the first of everything we earn. Anything else outside of that is considered an offering. However, when giving, it must be done with a joyful heart and not one of dread because you have to. God always knows the intention of your heart. The Bible says, God loves a cheerful giver. God honors our giving when it is done out of a loving a heart for Him and not out of greed or selfish intentions for self-satisfaction. By being obedient to God, He promises us in Luke 6:38-Give and it shall be given unto you good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall man give unto your bosom. For with the measure you meet it shall be measured back to you.
You cannot out give God. He will keep blessing and blessing. The Laws of Sowing and Reaping are not limited. Our words speak for themselves. I challenge you today to pay attention to what you are sowing. Then, follow God's rules of sowing and reaping and you will see a change in your home, marriage, finances, etc. It is a promise from God. In the Bible, He says to prove me now and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that your heart cannot contain it.
Above all else, Have Faith in God for without Faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6)
Galatians 6:9-And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
That means to wait. The Bible says to wait patiently upon the Lord in all things. God never goes back on His Word. You can always count on Him! So now, what are you sowing and reaping today!
